Q: What is PEA?

A: Polyether Amine or PEA. This is the active ingredient for carbon removal.

 

Q: How often can I use the product on my vehicle?

A: A: It is safe to use every 10,000 miles or at every oil change.

 

Q: Can I use on turbo or super charged engines?

A: Yes, it is effective for turbos and super-charged engines.

 

Q: Can I use this product if I have a twin turbo engine?

A: Yes, it is effective for use on twin turbo systems.

 

Q: On my turbo charged engine where can I spray the product?

A: You may spray directly through the throttle body or close enough to it.

 

Q: Can I spray the product through my turbo?

A: Yes it may safely be sprayed through the air intake, allowing the product to pass through the turbo.

 

Q: Will this product harm my oxygen sensors?

A: No this product is safe for oxygen sensors.

 

Q: Will this product hurt my catalytic converter?

A: No the use of this product will not harm the catalytic converter.

 

Q: Can I still use the product even if my engine is port fuel injection?

A: Yes you can, and you apply the product in the same fashion.

 

Q: After performing the service do I really have to wait a full hour before driving the vehicle?

A: Yes this will allow the product to hot soak into the carbon especially since the engine is still hot.

 

Q: Can I spray this product into a vacuum port or another intake passage?

A: Yes you can spray into a vacuum port.

 

Q: What if my vehicle does not have a mass air flow sensor. Where can I spray the product?

A: You can still use the product and spray through the throttle body. You can also remove the MAF sensor and spray where the sensor is mounted. If the vehicle is turbo charged, you can remove the boost sensor in the charge pipe and spray into the pipe.

 

Note: Use caution not to spray in front of mass air flow sensor as damage to sensor may occur.

Directions for Professional Users

  1. Warm up the engine

  2. Spray through a vacuum line connected to the intake manifold (ie. brake booster vacuum line)

  3. Hold engine at 2,000 RPM’s

  4. Spray until can is empty

  5. Allow engine to heat soak for 1 hour

  6. Drive at highway speeds for 10 minutes
